Yes Michael, I was referring to the intro stating it was for the 80 kph only (i said it was ambiguous because of that...). BTW I also solved the modem issue.. was my fault.. I didn't check the switch on the board and it was in "disable" position. changing android app server IP

I need to set up my own OVMS server for development use. I don't see any way in the Android app to modify the server IP that the app uses. In examining the Android code I do see it tucked into the app preferences, but since my Android device is not rooted, I can't get at that without recompiling the app and reinstalling my customized version. First of all please confirm that CFG commands (SPEED, POWER, RECUP, etc.) will work properly with Twizy 45. I've tried them on it and everything In any case I think we have to update twizy documentation at page 26 to be less ambiguous. More in general I think guide should be upgraded to provide instructions for both 45 and 80 model. I can try to do it with support. G. Hi again, I'm not able to enable GPRS in OVMS. I've tried some SIM cards with different operators and I think I've used properly APN settings (the same used in the phone) but it still having the 0x0041 error. In Italy (where I live) we have LTE, 3,5G 3G, 2.5G and 2G (not for every operator) but if I use the sim in a Phone and force 2G connections both SIM i've tried work (Vodafone and Telecom Italia). As lat information GSM works fine and I can communicate with OVMS by SMS. Any hint? Off topic but long term it would be prudent to investigate the cross platform options for the app, otherwise there's a lot of duplicate work. I'd consider HTML/Cordova, Xamarin (and perhaps Xamarin Forms), Titanium Sdk, etc. Not saying cross platform doesn't have its challenges but otherwise there's probably not enough dev resources to expect to develop a complete app for all platforms. Server historical data space problem?

Some users and me seem to have lost H records early during the last 24-48 hours. I.e. my RT-PWR-Batt* logs currently can only be fetched for the last 3 hours instead of 24. Thanks Mark, Isn't it too complicated to fetch the time from the GSM modem? How about changing the following 2 lines in the net.c code: if( b = strtokpgmram( net_buf+2, "," ) ) ; // Time To something like this if( b = strtokpgmram( net_buf+2, "," ) ) gps_time_str = *b; // Time gps_time_acquired = car_time; // when was that time acquired Then we can discuss if car_time should be the same as gps_time (probably not), or if gps_time could be used for logging and other selected functions? Or even if we can have a get_time() function (what would be a good location) that would encapsulate the time getting process and do some simple magic - say something like this: long get_time() { if (gps_time_acquired != 0) return gps_time_long + (car_time - gps_time_acquired); = *b; else return car_time; } Any issues with such approach? Apart from GPS antenna not connected to the board? Nikolay Here: unsigned long car_time Time (in seconds), as measured by the car. The 0 value of this can be whatever the car module desires. It is acceptable to merely initialize this to zero and increment it by 1 for every ticker1() received. Alternatively, a more accurate method is to read the real time clock from the vehicle CAN bus (if available) and update from there. I think the Tesla Roadster is the only vehicle actually updating it from the CAN bus. There was some (fairly recent) discussion about getting this from the GPS, and Tom did the foundation work (utils.{h,c} JDEpoch, JdToYMD, JdFromYMD, and datestring_to_timestamp in net.c), but we haven't completed the changes to the core net.c (+CCLK handler) to do this yet.
