I was able to source terminals and shell from mouser.com and make a new cable. Here are some part numbers and other info for reference:

 173631-6 terminal 16-20 AWG

I used 173630-1 terminals because the PTFE/Teflon jacketed hookup wire I like (Belden 83004) is 24 AWG. I used a delphi 12085271 crimping tool.

It's worth noting that mouser flags the black version of the shell as end-of-life.
