dexters-web.de has moved to a new server
Everyone, I've just moved dexters-web.de to a new server. This applies as well to the OVMS server. If you already used the name ovms.dexters-web.de to access the server, you don't need to change anything. If you want to or need to use the IP address, you need to change that now to the new IP: 146.0.237.226 The port forwarding will be stopped in about two weeks. Please contact me in case of any issues. The new server of course is also run on 100% renewable energy. The new data center is located in Frankfurt (Germany), in close proximity to the DE-CIX. Due to this and the new hardware, latency and performance should show substantial improvement. In case someone else gets into this on a new server installation: HTTP requests done by the server to post push notifications to Google all failed, logging… EV: error in callback (ignoring): dh params schmorp1539: failed to set DH parameters at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/AnyEvent/HTTP.pm line 850. I had installed the distribution's (CentOS 8) perl packages as far as available instead of using CPAN, so I got perl-AnyEvent version 7.14 (from the PowerTools repository). Unfortunately, that doesn't include a crucial fix to default to schmorp2048 instead of schmorp1539. See this blog entry for the patch: https://blog.kutej.net/2019/09/failed-to-set-DH-parameters On CentOS 8, the patch needs to be applied to: /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/AnyEvent/TLS.pm Regards, Michael Am 26.09.20 um 13:07 schrieb Michael Balzer:
