Release 3.1.2 is now online. I skipped checking in 3.1.1 as that was more or less just an intermediate step for the log access functions. There's now the readsdo_buf() function which does a segmented SDO read into a buffer. So this can be used to fetch strings and domain data (binary) from the SEVCON. The new log and alert functions use this to retrieve error descriptions, which the SEVCON fortunately provides...
