New Plugins Heat Assist & Climate Control Timers
Hi, Finally had some time to finalize and make the plugins user friendly. I have been using them for all winter (3 months now) so they should be pretty stable by now. You will find read-me and description in my GitHub repository: https://github.com/mjkapkan/OVMS-Plugins Note that as these are one of the first apps I write in JavaScript, there may be some awkward approaches, but in the end they serve the purpose just fine. Regards, Jaunius
Looks good. Let’s get your firmware changes pulled back in, so this can gain wider usage. Let me know what is needed. It would also be interesting to get plugins like this into a central repository, with simple HTTP download and install from our UI. Regards, Mark.

Hi Mark, As the NL code has been optimized for both 2013 and 2016 year models I was waiting for Anko to make the final test. As otherwise it would break the current climate control metrics for the existing 30kwh Leafs. But if this is not a problem, we can make the pull, as otherwise the code is ready. Hi Jaunius, Sorry for the delay on my side, just have been a bit too busy in the past couple of weeks. Go ahead and check in your code if you want. We can always fix bugs later if we find any, but the last code I saw was already pretty stable. Worst case your new code will show a wrong HVAC metric, where the original code would likely have been wrong anyway… OKidoki, Anko From: Jaunius Kapkan <jaunius@gmx.com> Sent: Thursday, 12 March 2020 9:02 pm To: OVMS Developers <ovmsdev@lists.openvehicles.com> Subject: Re: [Ovmsdev] New Plugins Heat Assist & Climate Control Timers Hi Mark, As the NL code has been optimized for both 2013 and 2016 year models I was waiting for Anko to make the final test. Jaunius, nice :) To submit your plugins to the central repository, please add a plugin subdirectory for the Leaf as shown for the Twizy, and provide README.rst files instead of the .md variants. Take care to keep the headlines short, as they will be used in the docs navigational menu (box on the left): https://docs.openvehicles.com/en/latest/plugin/README.html Regards, Michael Am 10.03.20 um 23:46 schrieb Jaunius K.:
