4G Modem Module *requires* 3.3 firmware
Just a reminder note to people upgrading existing v3.1 and v3.2 OVMS to 4G: You will need to install the v3.3 firmware (currently version 3.3.001) to support the new 4G modem option. That version is pre-installed on all new v3.3 kits, but not yet released to 'main' release level for everyone. The solution is to set the release level to 'edge', and you will see the v3.3 firmware available for install. You can set back to 'main' after install.
We should release 3.3 to eap & main now, as users now begin trying to update their new 3.3 modules: https://github.com/openvehicles/Open-Vehicle-Monitoring-System-3/issues/701 Objections? Regards, Michael Am 20.01.22 um 09:12 schrieb Mark Webb-Johnson:

My only concern is the plugin system in 3.3, and backwards compatibility for those using that. Regards, Mark.

We could include some "experimental" note to tell users things may change there, as we do with the MQTT support. Regards, Michael Am 25.02.22 um 01:32 schrieb Mark Webb-Johnson:
