Production batch #2 is done, and should be up on fasttech within the next day or so. A] 50x US kits (module + US modem) B] 145x EU kits (module + EU modem) C] 20x modules only (board + case, but no modem so wifi/bluetooth only) D] 5x extra optional EU modems E] 5x extra optional US modems All factory loaded with 3.1.006 firmware. Items [C], [D], and [E] will end up as new SKUs. These modules include the cp2102 to address the 12v power sd card issue, and now come in a nice padded foam cardboard box. Other than that, identical to batch #1. I’m arranging a one-off coupon code for the US$20 discount for existing OVMS v2 owners to upgrade, valid until the end of this month (June 2018). I’ll let you all know what that is, as soon as I get it. Beyond then, everyone pays full price. There are 200+ modules in this batch, so hopefully enough. If we run out too quickly, I’ll re-think this, but the project needs money to get the FCC+CE certifications, and that needs to come from somewhere. Regards, Mark.
Here is the new packaging, for batch #2 onwards. Fasttech has them up on the site now, and ordering is open. New coupon code coming in a few hours. Regards, Mark

I'll do it also in the Spanish forums. Not that many users, but still. I've already ordered mine :-) Marcos El 5 de junio de 2018 4:55:33 CEST, Mark Webb-Johnson <mark@webb-johnson.net> escribió:

From those that went to Fasttech last time (first batch of 100+), only 1/3rd used the coupon code. Maybe the other 2/3rd are new, or just being kind to the project. This time we have stock limits set so Fasttech can’t oversell. I’ve asked for a summary end of work today, so we can see where we are. Regards, Mark. P.S. I just installed one in a HK Tesla Roadster (took about 2 minutes physical installation and 4 minutes config setup).

Not at the moment. The capabilities of the two platforms are really very different. I have been telling people: Firmware is not complete, and should be considered beta Functionality is approximately equivalent to basic OVMS v2 firmware, but some advanced features (such as ACC, SMS control, etc) are not available yet Firmware is far in advance of v2 in other aspects (such as built in web server, metrics, console, tcp/ip support, diagnostics, geofencing, scripting, etc) Firmware can be updated either Over The Air (OTA), by Micro SD card, or over USB interface Regards, Mark.
