Hi folks, I'm helping an Ampera owner connect his OVMS for the first time using global sim. We confirmed that we could get data working on an iPhone 2g before putting it in OVMS module, but while we can get everything via SMS, there's no luck with IP. GPRS? gives two different errors now. First time it was Not Connected (0x0024) The second time, it was 0x0023. Any ideas? Nikki.

DIAG 2] Triple-check all passwords and usernames. 3] Make sure App can connect (albeit getting a red flashing icon, but not gray) with the same server username and password as entered into the module and shown in the above SMS output. 4] Make sure there is at least US$6 on the data plan. 5] Make sure GeoSIM is activated and on the global profile. 99.9% of the time it is either [2] or [4]. Beware.... The OVMS I recently bought had the internal GPRS switch set to "disable" when it arrived - took me ages to figure out why I had SMS but no GPRS. Also, I think that the UK setting for the GeoSIM is not the same as the US (global) - I think it is "Prime", but not 100% sure. Nikki, I got an eMail from him (after prompting him on twitter). His problem is that the server password he entered into the module doesn't match that he entered into his vehicle record on the server. The GPRS itself is up ok. I've eMailed him already.
