Generally, 12V current and temperatures are reported by the vehicle, as the module cannot measure that, only voltage. Metrics normally only get updates while/when the car/VCUs are online. Metrics get "stale" when not receiving updates for a while, but the AuxBatMon plugin for simplicity doesn't check for staleness. You're welcome to improve that. Note, you'll need to add a metrics staleness query Duktape API call first. The Niro/Konta adapter could also zero the current metrics when detecting the vehicle being offline. My questions:
1. What is the source of the current value? Is it being reported by the vehicle? I’m puzzled by it remaining at a high constant value even after the charger appears to have shut down. 2. Similarly with the charger and environmental temperature values — it seems add that they are mostly constant. 3. If there is anyone out there with a Niro / Kona, I’d be curious to know what the behavior of your auxiliary battery looks like.
Many thanks, Doug
