With a fairly simple cable (if you’re handy with a soldering iron, you can make it yourself), and a MS-Windows computer (you can download the update software from Garmin), you can update the firmware in the Garmin GPS (in the Roadster) and it will fix the date issue. The cable is also available on loan from members of the Tesla Motor Club. Probably due to the GPS bug the Tesla Roadster has. Is there any way to set the date manually?
