For anyone having problems doing a build, or testers who want to live on the bleeding edge without jumping through all the hoops needed to use the full development environment, you can get firmware images and instructions for loading the firmware here: http://www.idleloop.com/tesla/ovms/ You need a PICkit2 programmer plus a Windows program that comes on the PICkit2 CD or can be downloaded from Microchip for free.
