Fix would be good! Github pulls accepted :-)
- map default zoom level too zoomed in
We tried to put it close to the iOS version, but maybe both are too aggressive. It is a fairly simple change I think.
- when in map view horizontal wipe does not go to the next menu item (Messages), it only moves the map about.
On my nexus 4, I need to swipe from just off the side of the screen, and not too fast. I think this is part of the ActionBarSherlock framework.
- the Think images need a bit of photoshopping to remove the white border.
I wouldn’t worry about this too much, but you are welcome to make the fix. I am re-working that entire framework to use base layer + colour layer + mask to generate all the different car images from one. Any help you, or anyone, can give to this would be most appreciated. This is beta #1, and the changes made to get OCM integration done have been quite drastic (most notable upgrading to maps api v2). I am aware that the translations will need to be added to, but that can be left until we are a bit later in this beta process. Regards, Mark. I can confirm that: - I got an email - I was able to download the app and install it - I was able to change my default car picture to a Think City (horaay)
I have noticed a couple of changes which might not be intended: - map default zoom level too zoomed in - when in map view horizontal wipe does not go to the next menu item (Messages), it only moves the map about. - the Think images need a bit of photoshopping to remove the white border.
I guess I should start putting stuff in bugzilla or something.. Or even better, fix them :)
Thanks Mark for getting me "into the loop".
Best regards Rolf

Hmm, after using the last two links you sent I'm now a member of the "Open Vehicles" and "Android Testers" teams, but there are no apps available.?.. (tried both compatible and noncompatible). More tricks up your sleeve? :)

A good day.
OVMS Android App v3.2.1 is now released to beta test. You can get it from testflightapp:
http://www.testflightapp.com/install/c514a82bf4936634cbd1f76536c74c67-ODMxNz...
We’re using TestFlightApp for both iOS and Android Apps, so it would be helpful if you could register there. If you do, you’ll get notified of new builds as and when they are released.
As with the iOS App, we’ve had sponsorship and support from Zero Carbon World for this:
Charging station integration and information provided by Zero Carbon World (http://www.zerocarbonworld.org/open-charge-map) and the Open Charge Map project (www.openchargemap.org <http://www.openchargemap.org/>).
Let me have feedback / problems via testflightapp or here. It is a beta #1 build, but is functionally complete. The only known issue is a 20 second delay when a new car is setup (or the first time the app is run), for charge station data to be downloaded.
Regards, Mark.
