Tom, Is your iPhone on the latest iOS? There was a bug in 8.0 that caused this. Also, is the OVMS App up-to-date? The latest OVMS App on the latest iOS should be fine. I have iOS v8.1.1 and App v1.6.4, and it seems on work fine on that combination. Regards, Mark. P.S. History: 1] last betas of iOS 8 had this problem 2] We changed the App to work around the problem (thinking apple had changed the view container hierarchy) 3] iOS 8 was released, as was our App, and all was fine. 4] iOS 8.0.1 was released, reverting to old iOS 7 style view container hierarchy, and we were broken again 5] We released an updated App to resolve the problem (revert to our old behaviour) On 26 Nov, 2014, at 3:28 pm, Tom Saxton <tom@idleloop.com> wrote:
I'm having problems setting the time zone from the iPhone app. When I try to change parameter #23 from -07:00 to -08:00 (or simply -8, or even -07:00), I get a "parameter out of range" error.
The server log says:

Is anyone else having this issue?
I do have a few small changes in my version of the firmware, but nothing anywhere near the parameter setting code.
Tom
