Regarding wifi/cellular, did you check your logs yet for unexpected switches?
I'm not sure how to do that. What logging level should I be using for this? I'll attach some logs for a 24 hour period when I was running 3.3.004-313-g78a49a59 FYI, I'm going to have to stop investigating for a bit so don't think I've forgotten about it if you don't hear from me for a few weeks...
