Ah, ok then. I did a vfs ls of it, and nothing got returned, so tried catting it. If it's a directory, what should I normally find in there? I have not tried to set any config parameters as yet. Is it worth trying to do so (writing to flash)? Greg Mark Webb-Johnson wrote:
Ovms_config is a directory. Don’t think you can cat it.

Hi Steve,
No, it's just "cannot be opened:"

I just noticed that there are 128 lines of bogus files (power of 2 a coincidence?), prior to ovms_config.

Greg,
But, if I try to vfs cat the file, ovms complains that the file cannot be opened. Just checking... Is the complaint "Error: protected path"? If so, you have to set:
CONFIG_OVMS_DEV_CONFIGVFS=y
in sdkconfig to allow access with the vfs commands.
