Thanks Mark, Yes, this may be a solution. In my situations the cars are sitting idle for far too long and a reasonable workaround would be for the module to shutdown when the 12V battery starts getting weak - under particular voltage and certain timeout. I am not certain this is possible with current v2 without external hardware.
