[Ovmsdev] Upgrading an early production OVMSv3 to the current modem

Greg,

So long as the module hardware is a 3.1 or later in 3.x series, then replacing the modem is simple - just order the new modem and swap it out. Check the label printed on the main OVMS board.

Note that antenna connection points are different in the modem - so follow the table printed on the circuit board. The SIM should work fine for 2G; 3G, or 4G.
