[Ovmsdev] Use of ovms_netlib component ?

Dear all,

While doing network-related things (/mainly trying to upgrade our 
Mongoose from 6.11 to 7.10 - more on that in a later mail/) I've seen 
this module (components/ovms_netlib).

I can't easily figure how, and where it is used.

Can someone please enlighten me ?
