Version 1.8.0 of the iOS App is now in testflight beta testing. Changes made include:

A large number of new vehicle images (ENV200, iMiev, KiaNiro, Kona, Leaf, SmartED, Zoe)
Temperatures shown as stale, even if CoolingPump is not enabled
Support for kPa and BAR pressure units (in addition to PSI)
Support for iOS 13 battery SOC meter
Support for iOS 13 dark mode

Feedback on the pressure (PSI, kPa, BAR) feature would be helpful (I’ve just implemented it with the raw formulas, converting from PSI). This is selected in the system settings app (gray gear icon on your iOS device desktop), Open Vehicles.

If you are not on the testflight beta testers list, you can install directly from the public beta test link here:

Some early feedback (via testflight) from Tamás Kovács indicates a problem with the car top down display for some of the new vehicle types, and I am tracking that issue as https://github.com/openvehicles/Open-Vehicle-iOS/issues/33 <https://github.com/openvehicles/Open-Vehicle-iOS/issues/33>. It seems that while some vehicle images were provided by contributors, the names don’t match the top down images, and they haven’t been added to the project itself (just put in the image directory). I will tidy this up, and release a 1.8.1 in a few days - please continue testing the other features.

Regards, Mark.
