Tom,

Is your iPhone on the latest iOS? There was a bug in 8.0 that caused this.

Also, is the OVMS App up-to-date?

The latest OVMS App on the latest iOS should be fine. I have iOS v8.1.1 and App v1.6.4, and it seems on work fine on that combination.

Regards, Mark.

P.S. History:
1] last betas of iOS 8 had this problem
2] We changed the App to work around the problem (thinking apple had changed the view container hierarchy)
3] iOS 8 was released, as was our App, and all was fine.
4] iOS 8.0.1 was released, reverting to old iOS 7 style view container hierarchy, and we were broken again
5] We released an updated App to resolve the problem (revert to our old behaviour)
