I’m just pissed about the modem price. The 3G modules are too expensive (four times the price of what we pay for SIM900s). 4G modules are even more ludicrously priced.

Maybe add the CPU clock of 240 MHz to the specs.

MAX7317 has 10 EGPIOs.

Of those, four are used (MDM_EN, SW_CTL, CAN1_EN, MDM_DTR), leading six available for expansion.

The DB26 expansion connector has 7 GEP (general expansion pins) available. These can be mapped by the expansion board.

If something needs a lot of GPIOs, probably best to use bluetooth, or perhaps ASYNC off EXP_1/EXP_2.

How will a v2 owner qualify for the discount?

Coupon code to be used at checkout. I’m going to work out a way to show it on openvehicles.com once they have logged in, next to their registered vehicle. There is gonna be some trust here, that people don’t share that coupon code with others or abuse the system. Anyway, it will be time limited.
