The offending metrics appear to have been in the Nissan Leaf code base for a while now, but do not appear to be used. If they were the issue with them blocking all custom 'xnl' metrics from plugins/web pages should have been picked up by now.

Until I (or someone else requiring the vector string functionality) has time to look at extending the metrics code I will comment these out and add a note to the NL code.
