I've been told by many people, that one of the biggest problems with OVMS is the cellular providers. It is a hassle to maintain a pre-paid card, and the providers keep changing the rules. Particularly in the USA.

Could you let me know (with figures in US$, approximately ok, please):

1. What country are you in?
2. What cellular provider and service do you use?
   
   
3. How much do you pay, up-front for the SIM card?
   
   
4. How much do you pay, monthly for the service (SMS + Data)?
   
   
5. How much do you pay, per-MB for data?
   
   
6. Long-term viability - do you think this is still going to be possible in a year or two?
   
   
7. Anything else relevant?
