Great detective work in spotting this! I've now deployed the patch, with both can buses active. Will report back how it goes.

 

I've enabled the specific debug logging you recommended, including events. Although for the latter I've commented out server.web.socket.opened/closed as those events were spamming the log.

 

If issues become apparent, either in the car or the log, I'll then try making just can1 (or can2) active.
