"Yes," he said cautiously. I booted with your patch almost 3 days ago
and have had zero netreg issues since then. But I have had a bunch of
"no satellites in view." But when this happens it usually happens with
both cars around the same time (and the issue clears up at the same time
as well). This makes me suspect some difference in the SIM7600 GNSS
hardware vs. the signal my cars see in my garage. Or maybe a modem
firmware issue since I wouldn't expect *all* satelltes to go away at the
same time. I moved my dev module out to the garage on Sunday (using a
spare C6 Corvette onstar antenna brick for cell and GNSS) but I didn't
get it instrumented until a few hours ago so I don't have history for it
yet. But I'm expecting it to track whatever problems the other two
modules have.

To me that thread covers two out of three of my issues; canbus and GSM.
I took a look at the logs for one module and it looks like there is some
correlation between satcount=0 and not being able to connect to the v2
and v3 servers; this happened at 4:54 and 5:36 PDT today, I'll attach
logs for today. The repeated "mongoose: mg_ssl_if_mbed_err ... SSL
error: -1" errors caught my eye.
Oh and I notice now that when satcount=0, gpshdop=500 (I didn't know it
could go so high!)
