Thanks for your input.
I believe I have figured out the problem! The Car is always reporting the Odo in Km, regardless of the cars speedometer using miles or Km.
That explains why both I and Matt has to convert the Odo from Km to miles.

The same issue will probably also applies for the speed as well? I assume the car is also reporting the speed only in Km/h, and then the speed is also wrong for those that uses miles. Has anyone checked if the speed is reported correctly when OVMS module is configured for miles?

There were some mi/km bugs in the iMiev code, and I think I fixed them in the code I sent to this list a couple of weeks back. My OVMS unit seems to be broken at the moment, so I can't test until I get it replaced. If you check the list a couple of weeks back you can try my partly-tested newer code.

Hi Thomas,

I could maybe plug in one of my OVMS kits into a friend's iMiev here in the UK, but I think the speedo is in km.. :(

Hi,

A OVMS user on the i-Miev forum in US with a i-Miev have experienced the following issue:

In the notifications, I have my units set to miles, though the Odometer reading is still in Km. Range readings are correct.

He are using the v2.5.5 FW downloaded from Mark's GitHub repository.

Anyone else experienced this?
