    a) did you pick an active GPS antenna? I.e. one with a voltage on
    the label. The module can barely get a signal with passive antennas.<br>
    <br>
    b) If you restart the modem, wait for "State: PoweredOff" before
    starting it again.<br>
    <br>
    c) You can monitor the NMEA sentences by setting <font
      face="monospace">log level verbose gsm-nmea</font>.<br>
    <br>
    d) Not getting PPP as well may point to a general modem issue, maybe
    also log gsm-mux & simcom to check for that.<br>

              currently on the dashboard - could it be overheating in
