<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi all,</div><div> </div><div>I'm in the process of integrating Tasker support in OVMS for Android. </div><div><br>For those who don't know about Tasker:</div><div> </div><div>"Tasker is an application for Android which performs <i>tasks</i> (sets of
actions) based on <i>contexts</i> (application, time, date, location, event,
gesture) in user-defined profiles or in clickable or timer home screen widgets. "</div><div> </div><div>Currently I use it to automate all kinds of things, like turning on the lights of my house when my phone sees my access point. But it can also be used to add additional intelligence to our cars. For instance:</div><div> </div><div><li>- User gets the possibility to charge by schedule. For instance: When at a certain location, charge at 16A from 1:00 to 5:00. charge at 32A at other times.</li><li>- OVMS-triggered events: Upon charge done, have something happen on the phone. For instance: play a song, send an email, tweet or whatever. Also, in case you're driving and OVMS reports a SOC below a certain value, start the app that finds the nearest charger</li><li>- Open up variables (like temperature/SOC) for use in Widget-tools like Zooper.</li><li>- Even more advanced ACC: Set the "charge done by" time according to a given day/time/location.</li><li>- Log location/charge/speed/temperature data to phone/web</li><li>- Enable voice control of charging</li><li>- et cetera</li></div><div><br>My devskills aren't that advanced, so I hope there's someone here I can team up with to get this thing going. </div><div> </div><div>Some basic info on enabling Tasker support:</div><div><a href="http://tasker.dinglisch.net/developers.html">http://tasker.dinglisch.net/developers.html</a></div><div><a href="http://tasker.dinglisch.net/plugins-intro.html"><font color="#0066cc">http://tasker.dinglisch.net/plugins-intro.html</font></a></div><div> </div></div>
