<div>My unit for the Opel Ampera also lost GPS functionality suddenly. Apart from the fact that the unit itself got burning hot when I touched it. I disconnected it and haven't taken the time yet what the cause might be. My unit for the Roadster works fine,
but after a couple of days it will lose connection and the only way to fix it is disconnect and reconnect the unit. <br>

but things like the PCBs are sub-contracted out and these sub-contractors are busy. But, from my point of view, I'm really happy with the current hardware reliability, and no big issues found.<br> <br> Gotta say that most reports of hardware failure end up to be a username/password typed incorrectly, or SIM balance too low.
