[Ovmsdev] OVMS esp-idf version required still?

Michael,
unfortunately yes, migration from esp-idf 3.x to release 4.x needs some
work, as does reintegrating our patches that haven't been merged by
Espressif.
Craig has done some initial work on this, but that's already some IDF
releases ago now.
