[Ovmsdev] Fasttech kit status "discontinued"

New stock is coming very soon (within days). Manufacturing is complete, and the factory is doing QC now. Both Fasttech and openenergymonitor should be fully replenished. Fasttech should get theirs this week, and openenergymonitor next week (a few days shipping to EU).

Kind of frustrating that they give boilerplate answers like that. The issue is that I had previously decided not to restock the EU kits at Fasttech, to ‘encourage’ people to buy from the openenergymonitor shop within the EU (we were seeing a large number of sales through fasttech). So when stock ran out, we marked the EU kit as discontinued. No idea why the US kit is also marked that way (especially when the base modules are merely "SOLD OUT”).

I’ve asked Fasttech to now mark these kits as “SOLD OUT” to avoid confusion.

Reviewing the sales delivery records, I have found a significant number of people buying the EU kits from Fasttech to countries other than in the EU. Places like Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, etc. So, the decision now is to continue to sell these kits via Fasttech (if people want them), but to change our www.openvehicles.com <http://www.openvehicles.com/> website to emphasise the openenergymonitor shop for EU orders (and Fasttech for everywhere else). I’ll be making these changes to our website in the coming few weeks.

As Chinese New Year is coming at the end of this month, China is shutting down starting next week, for at least two weeks. It is a difficult time of year to get things done out here; with the factories and offices trying to get things out before the new year (both for logistics as well as good fortune reasons).
