That's believable.  I've had GoPhone for almost a year now, but had let 
the account lapse after only a month or two of use.  It took going into 
the store in-person to reinstate (recreate) an account since it looks 
impossible to do on-line.

Wireless service in the USA is a miserable experience.  I 
much-appreciated the wireless pay-as-you-go services and SIM-swapping 
freedom that I experienced for a few months in Ukraine last year.
