I believe you are right. From datasheets the range is rated to 150 km with
16 KWh and 14.5 KWh battery. I believe the battery is the same, and 16 KWh
is theoretical capacity and 14.5 KWh is usable capacity.

For the 2013 i-Miev the rated range is 160 km with the same battery as
previous MY.
